So I was doing a WC today - normally weekly but I measured some ammonia in my water - just added a ray so might be the culprit. In stirring the sand I found some of the black worms seem to be doing fine! I guess the Ray or Geos will find a snack? Usually if one of my canisters gets dirty, I'll see a drop in PH. This week it seems to be climbing - from 6.5 on Saturday to 6.57 on Tuesday. Any ideas?
Btw - I know Prazi is safe for rays. What about Cupramine?

Not sure about the meds and your rays....but the ph increase is marginal at best. It probably fluctuates more than you think. And that is normal especially if using tap water. Have you added or removed any decor recently?

No - all large driftwood. I move it when I do a WC. I have a digital pinpoint monitor and track my PH pretty closely. Our tap water runs 6.2 and I usually add baking soda slowly a few days after a WC if the PH is below 6.5.
