PHONE OF THE YEAR?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i just got a galaxy nexus with verizon. didn't want to pay $199 for the s3. i'm very happy with the gnexus so far, plus i made $20 from it and a free hdmi dock.

I love my htc one X its fast has a big screen awesome front rear facing camera and the rear facing cam is pretty good too plus alot of cool features. For instance, my lil e-cat is quick and sneaky so hard to get pics of her. Now i just shoot a vid and i can go back through the vid and snap the perfect pics of her.
Good luck

I say the HTC One X. I'm a fan of HTC phones. Great cameras, nice build quality and they have the highest resolution screens with the highest ppi count. They use Super LCD screens so the color rendition and clarity is amazing. Samsung makes great phones but I'm not a fan of their AMOLED screens. They have an ugly blue/green tint and produce gaudy cartoon looking colors. And their phones are too plasticy.

I know you said Sprint, but do yourself a favor and check out the HTC Droid DNA on Verizon. That phone is a thing is beauty!

Here's what I mean about display quality. You can see just how bad the AMOLED screens are, especially the Pentile matrix of the GSIII. It has a RG/BG pixel orientation which means it's difficult for the phone to produce a true white color. This is what gives it the awful green tint. The GSII actually had a better screen than the GSIII since it used an RGB matrix.

Looking at the HTC DNA, it's no contest. You can see how tight the resolution is with a true 1080p display, and white colors are truly white. HTC has been king of displays for a long time now.

Why are you sticking with Sprint? The service must be much better in your area. I have Sprint and I hate it, but I go through StraightTalk. If I could afford to, I'd switch to a newer phone that runs on AT&T. I wish I could have Verizon again, but that ish costs way too much money.

How does the LG optimus G stack up in terms of screen quality? I think it was 1280 or something, Thx for you insights man, that helps alot! Screen quality is number 1 for sure!
