why did the bridge collapse anyways?

im excepting it on modern marvels: engineering disaster soon.

They are not quite sure what caused the bridge to collapse. I guess it was in need of a lot of repairs. They are going to piece the bridge back together to figure out what happened.

Santoury, If you lost a family member in that tragedy and came to this site to get cheered up and talk fish i think you might feel differently. Think about it you come to this site click new post and there it is a reminder of this tragic event.

It says "Lounge" right next to the post. I think if you can put 2 and 2 together you would realize that its not fish related.

lol im going to admit i laughed too. and there is nothing wrong with that.

I know one thing ..if a relative came to the lounge and saw this post and read about people giggling they definitly would be affected by it even more then these photos..

why not stick to the subject on hand,FISH.We could watch the news if we are looking to get depressed.Liz your fish pictures are great and we would rather see some of those .

Well thank you ..but i thought this was the lounge and i could post pics on other subjects..as it turns out this was a poor choice of pictures and subject matter..

Sad how this happens to almost EVERY post like this one.

If you don't like it, don't waste your time. I don't go to the stingray forums, or the datnoid forum, for example. If it's fish you're after, I would avoid the lounge.
Some of us have other meaningful things to share, other than fish, and thank goodness we have this capacity here.

wow amazing how it seems sometimes you cant have your own opinion with out getting pounced on.... i saw this in the newspaper but the pics i saw did not really show the damage.... really sucks for those people....

Honestly though, its not really that big of a tragedy. It sucks for the what 7 people that they have found now dead, but you got to be thankful for the 30+ or so people that survived. Its just a bridge, we can build another. When you say "tragedy", it makes me atleast think of 9-11 where hundreds or so people died. It just sucks that I can't cross over that bridge and have to take another route to go to the U.

This is true.. when you figure in the number factors we have to be thankful it was not more lives lost...but anythihing that causes death or injury is a tragic event...
