already tried some krill and pellets. didnt stay down there the whole time to see if they ate though.i will follow all this advice. i thank everyone very much

10" mono/ocell hybrids, depending on where in the country you are, will vary in price. If ANY sort of peacock bass is hard to find, really desperate people will willingly pay upwards of $50 each for fish that size. Hell, I have seen 5" Sunpet hybrids at retail that manage to go upwards of $60 :
In other areas where many types are plentiful, the price is driven down (south Florida, southern California, MAYBE New Jersey of all places) to closer to $25 a piece. So yes, VERY good price, and thank you for saving (we hope!) their lives.
If yours are hybrids, they seem to favor mono traits over ocell. Keep us posted, and best of luck to you. You are their savior.

just dropped in some diced up northern. not interrested in that either. so we will try again tomorrow
thermomiter says 76 this morning bumped it up another 4 deg.. crossing my fingers. will keep upping the temp. till i get into that mid 80 range.and ill keep trying to get them to eat.
Some cichla at that size wont eat in a new tank for a few days, but they eventually will... Good luck and nice catch!
Nice Monos, try soaking the fillets in garlic, I did that with my wc mono and he eventually went for it.
