Yeah, that's what I told them we could do Saturday since they are filling it in with dirt once all of the fish are gone.
Thanks. My wife wants me to take the 3 big 8-10 lb catfish out of the pond since they are not "pretty"! I guess I better start my Koi research since I was originally planning on my pond being native!
How's your blue crabs doing? It's interesting that you are putting them in the pond makes me want to building a pond for natives, goldfish/koi and crabs right now
They are doing great....they come up to the stream area for air and sit and go back in to the water. They stay mostly at the bottom in the corners hidden.
I guess the catfish and tilapia will be coming out soon. I actually like the tilapia's light blue color though but my wife just likes the Koi now. I am almost done a big 9.5x5x 3 tank in my basement so I may turn that in to the native tank.
The black is actually a shade of a navy blue. It's nice! Hard to tell in the pics though. I am going to try to get some more today snice the sun is shining so bright!
Probably....I don't know much about goldfish (besides feeders) or Koi but I have been researching a lot about them today, so it's possible they are. I need to find someone who knows about koi to figure out the types. I know the white one is called a Shusui.
