There’s not a lot of options with limited space available. But the suggestions of mottled sculpin, and pike topminnow are great as they can live in your tank for life

Keeping native species can be challenging. I've kept Rainbow Darter and they require cool water so will struggle in water temperature over the 70° mark. I suggest keeping them in a unheated basement. I personally kept a group on the second floor but AC unit went out and the Darter's started to die daily.

Nothing wrong with keeping a Native Predatory specie just keep in mind some thrive in different water temperatures.

Go with the pike minnow if that's the specie you may be interested in. I personally have no experience with them.

Halfbeaks, but they aren’t that agressive. Pike topminnow would be the best bet.
