Picking a Pleco

I don't have any experience with those but it looks like they stay relatively small. If you don't want to risk it, just start with a pleco around 6" and I'd imagine you'd be ok.

I'm a fan of royal plecos and I've had more than one 'royal' species with GTs. The notion that plecos produce a lot of waste is not true of all pleco species ime, but it is true of royals. And if you have driftwood, which royals need, expect it to slowly disappear, though it does take a while.

I don't notice my bushy nose poop but the spotted high fins look like they are dragging spaghetti around the tank! Uncouth bastards!
