I mean cmon though, how do you think that's a del?! (Talking about the LFS employee that sassed me on telling me its for sure a delhezi lol)
Just got one, thats the best pic I've gotten so far, still a lil skittish especially w/ the camera

To be completely honest that looks like a del cause it's so light and the strips stand out so I can see where he would think it's a del. He probably just looked at the stripes and didn't worry to much about the head shape or stuff like the small things which make a big difference in telling that it's a weeksii.
It was in an all white tank at the LFS, i also tried telling him its washed out from the white tank and he just looked at me and goes no its not. The head and the markings on the head look nothing like a del, and idk about you Dr but ive never seen a del that wasnt tan on the back instead of green like this
And the head is so big! Its head is bigger then my gold dusts and the goldy has like 2-3 inches on him

from the pics (or at least on my phone) it doesn't look green. But I was just saying I could see where he would think its a del. The head isn't the only thing that's big either lol with a big head comes a big mouth.
Oh yeah for sure, the pics are distorting it a bit but in real life its a very pale green for now, after a few days it should be normal unless i have some weird oddball or not a weeksii. I know its not a del, ive had delhezi and grown it out to over that size and theres 0 pattern on this guys head and body other then the stripes. By half this size mine had a pattern going all over its body.
Also black lines on the head, what else do you think it could be? My girl even knew it wasnt a del lol from seeing mine back in high school and comparing it to this
another thing, ive seen delhezi in the tank i got him out of before, he looks completely different. There were even baby dels in the tank next to it to compare haha

Oh I'm not saying it's a del I'm just saying for someone inexperienced both a pale weeksii and a del could look the same.
Oh yeah I know its just the attitude he gave me while I was trying to explain to him why it wasn't a del got me pretty mad. The girl who's normally there with him even said that it wasn't a del haha just that guy thinks he knows everything

Yeah see I hate when people are stubborn on their info even when it's wrong, but I have to admit I'm a little stubborn to so I'm not gonna hate too much…... lol
