Picking up fish at the airport?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't keep rare fish I have a rtc and a shovel nose hybrid. They wanted 75$+ shipping online for a rtc I drove 20 minutes and paid 25. Then I decided I had room for a hybrid and online they wanted 50+$ so I went to ocean state aquatics and he got me some. I can get anyfish I want. We have more than 1 local vender. I guess everyone's dif I'd just rather not pay for shipping and take the chance.

thats for RTC SNH which are very common fish. Most fish stores dont have what some people want thats why they order online. Fish keeping is free to everyone who are devoted and willing!!!!!!
YOU TROLL

I'm just outside of Detroit& we have at least 15LFS (not counting Petsmart/ PETCO/ pet supplies plus, ect) + we even have Peter Durkin as a local.
I still occasionally order online

Just because you have alot of stores around you, doesn't mean they have what you want.
& if you think you're not paying for shipping when your LFS gets something in for you... Think again

Back on topic-- when ever you are expecting an air cargo shipment (best method IMO) you should be provided a shipper&/ or a tracking/ shipment number.
After you have that - Google for the phone number& address.

Another thing about ordering online --- if you order enough fish, it usually offsets the shipping charges. Or you can get a few friends to order with you.

A lot of stores doesn't mean much, When most of the order from the same whole sellers.

The cargo area at Atlanta airport, Is quite easy to get to. About a mile or so from the main terminal.
Parked right up at the door for live shipments, And they brought me my shipment, 4hrs door to door, WA to GA.:)
Not the nightmare I was expecting. No long security process or pat downs.

Spike:grinno:

Just did a quick search and it looks like Southwest doesn't have a facility at Raegan National yet so it will probably go to BWI in Bmore which is fine I guess. It is a longer drive though. I am assuming he will give me all the necessary information tomorrow when the fish are shipped. And the fish I am getting aren't illegal in MD but thanks for the concern. Also the facility does seem to be separate from the actual airport if that makes sense. Hopefully that makes finding it easier.

I'm sure you could get whatever airline (that offers air cargo) and airport you want... Just tell the vendor.
