Picking up my new silver aro tonight...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nice video. lookin' good. those tiger barbs are tiny. these shouldn't cause the aro any problems, but keep an eye out.

one tiger barb was missing after i out him there....then after a day i saw it again.....now since saturday one is missing again. Last night there were 4.....this morning...there were none....i turned on the lights for a good 20 minutes and none came out...i'm gonna check again later tonight, because these past days..he has been trying to get near those barbs in the way he does when he's checking out the food i'm giving him... :D

when i came home last night...there were only two tiger barbs left in the tank...and the silver's belly was bulging.:drool::grinno:

haha. i have some disappearing tetras, too, lol.

Your silver and tank looks awesome.

Thanks Venom...

and my aro is now alone in the tank with pleco...last night i saw him staying at one corner of the tank near the bottom looking a little bit pale.....put in some shrimp that he loves and din't even go near it, but i noticed when he swims he wouldn't go on the other side of the tank where the remaining tiger barb is....and the said tiger barb actually went for the arowana's food...and he doesn't seem scared of the aro now....so i looked closely at the aro and he has a nip at one of the fins near the tail...i figured that little barb was bullying him...

so me and the wife got the little bully and placed him in a 5 gallon i had...changed about 20% water turned of the lights for an hour....

then i saw him swimming normally again....i turned on the lights he hid again but after a couple of minutes was back to swimming again....i gave him some shrimp and this time he gobbled it all up.....and his colors came back to normal..

man....the little dude got me worried so much..my wife was like..."why are you stressin? and i told her "i was worried about him"

so now he's finally the king in the tank...with only the pleco to keep him company. :)

damn nippy tiger barbs. glad to hear you got it all sorted out.
