Just got home and I'm acclimating them to my water. I'm also taking off my glass lids and using eggcrate I got from Rich because my water has been getting too hot.

The long fins are really nice! Very cool looking bichirs, and they're already at a good size.
If you caught the pics Rich posted in the holding tanks, they were a light color because they were in a glass tank with bright base beneath it, but in a tank with no substrate and/or dark base, they have darkened to a nice olive color.
