Never saw a pacu.

The pike do put up a good fight for their size but I never saw any over 2lbs.

WOW i'd love to see more pics. That's a trip I'd love to do myself someday. I fish for Largemouth Bass all spring and summer here in NY cause obviously we can't catch em all year long its too cold. Anyway ever since I was a kid and saw Peacocks being caught on top water lures on TV, I 've wanted to do it. They're like a largemouth on Steriods and then some I bet

What were you using? Live bait or topwater? I bet they EXPLODE on those lures too.

That was awesome thanks for sharing with us. I especially loved the arrow. It looked nice. the pike was beautiful also. But the P bass rule! 19lbs must of made your day reeling that monster in.
