Pics of dividers

With my egg crate divider I keep rocks at the bottom on both sides to prevent them from pushing in the bottom I then put a mag float at the front of the tank holding it in place and then the back I usually put up against the overflow in my tank and put a zip tie through the egg crate and attach it to my overflow. I've never had it knocked over yet. Depending how you have it you can also tie off the top with zip tie or rope.

Well I think I figured out something everyone could use very easily. A plastic baby gate! I use them for my German Shepards. It's 27" high and adjustable from 29" to 46" long. Extremely sturdy. No way the Rays are knocking this over. Made of polypropylene and a couple of stainless rivets. Much stronger, cheaper, and easier than anything else I seen. Great idea but from what i have looked at on internet these do not open wide enough if you have a 4 feet wide tank.

Hi bud
Yes that is what i was thinking but they are also too tall for my tank that is closer to 22" tall internally so i would need to chop it about a bit. Not a major show stopper but i have also found it extremely difficult to get a U.K supplier of this exact same gate. We seem to use metal gates more with very big openings in them. I think you got very lucky in that your tank dims just happen to accomodate this size of gate. It looks great by the way.

Your right Jim. The model I have only opens to 42.5". You would have to add 2" of pipe or glass strips or something to either end to make it work for a 4' wide. Not sure if they do custom orders or not. North States Industries is the manufacturer in the US.
