thanks. I like it. I bought it from many different places. bermuda triangle, fish mania, petco(don't buy from them it was stupid), and a couple people selling some rock. I really like the rock I got from a guy from the reef forum I go on named tommy. he gave me the best deal out of everywhere and it was the best rock with the most good life.

what reef forum is this?? i might try and buy from him if hes selling on a regular basis and not just from his tank ( one time deal sort of thing)

reef2reef.com. he's a local guy for me lives 10 mins from me. he is just changing out smaller rocks for large ones in his 320 and has a 75 gallon packed full of coral covered rock he is selling for 3-4 dolars a pound. I am buying some more from him next week. it's all completely cured and has nothing bad on it. he started everything in his tank off from nothing. he bought live rock, bleached it, and then let it reculture in the tank on its own. it's really some great stuff for someone adding onto what they already have.

sounds like some nice stuff. I have a piece of rock that i bought from one of my dads old buddies in the hobby. The rock is about 15 years old lol, and looks amayzing, has a lot of nice holes and crevices in it and the coraline cover is great to. Keep getting some of that stuff and your tank will have a very large population of beneficial creatures.

yeah that's what I am doing. I am buying as much as I can from the guy. even after my tank is full I am gonna get some more. I am gonna get some to just have storing in some salt water so I can set up my big tank when I have my own place ( I am planning an 8 foot tank to set up when I have my own house. I want it to be lps/sps with some softies mixed in for variety)

Nice tank. A volitan lionfish cant stay in a 40 gallon breeder for life.

I don't have it anymore. traded it in for a clarkii clown and a yellow wrasse. they have plenty of space.

Really like your tank. How would a Dwarf LF do?
