your UGJ looks good. if the sand or gravel is the same color i wouldn't change it to black. the paint would just wear of later on and your fish might just find it funny to eat. Your spray bar looks great. I was planning to do the same but my built-in overflow was enough as of the moment. i would however, suggest you get some suction cups and try to support the spray bar evenly. just a thought to lessen the stress on both ends. you wouldn't like it ending up falling apart.:)
 
looking good nice tank i'd first fill it and see what that looks like cause if you paint it you can't go back
 
you can use krylon fusion to paint PVC. I've used it (and know a couple others that have) and it works great.
 
the door for the stand shipped today, I am leaving for france on vacation be back on saturday then going away for 2 more weeks...

Great work. If you dont like the spray bar you dont really need it but its your choice, i like the piping on the tank base will work well to keep the debris out of tricky spots.

Cant wait to see this tank up and running :thumbsup:
