Picked these guys up yesterday, my 72 gallon planted is slowly turning into a loach tank. Other tankmates include 4 clowns, 3 yoyos, 4 red bay snooks, lots of mollies and a couple of gouramis

Hope you don't mind if it loses it's unnatural color. I think they are great fish anyway.

Well that sucks, would not have bought them if I had known, I don't care if the loose color I just don't like to support that sort of thing. Sad thing is that I researched cause I was looking for another large type loach but completely missed the part about the possiblity of them being dyed.

:confused: Not all blue botia are dyed. From the pics these do not appear to have been. :)
