Hi I know these pics are horrible but I am concerned In the look of my RTC's Gill It looks like he may have gill curl.... i searched the forum for possible cures but what I want everyone to confirm the possibility of gill curl and if for successful cure options. Thanks... These pics are from 4 weeks ago and the problem has not gotten worse or better

not the best pics to judge, but the gills sure do look like they curl outwards, could possibly be gill curl, you got anymore pics?

NO at the moment no but i will post more pics tommorow I am pretty sure it is gill curl though..... Does anyone have some good pics of an RTC w/gill curl and one with no gill curl??? thansk

Yep its curled to get rid of it you will have to trim it and keep it in clean water to prevent it from comeing back

I read the article and from what I understand I should just massage the gill to the point were it will uncurl??? I will post pics of the problem as soon as i get home..... Thanks again

Never cut the skin on the gill covers. Doesn't grow back from what I've heard. Anyone who has actually done this successfully provide pics and info because I've heard you only disable the fish worse.

Ok I have concluded that he has gill curl. At the bottom are pics of the gill curl and I am very concerned about what steps I should take to reverse the problem if at this stage it is possible. Can someone with experience please tell me what to do, because after searching on the forum I feel more lost than ever.... Another concern i have is what is causing this curl because my TSN X RTC is not showing any sigms of this gill curl... Well thanks for hearing me out
