i was going to say needlenose but then i saw its snout its wayy to short for a needlenose

While what looks like a "forked tail" could have been because the fish was turning or some other reason, the anal fin in the last picture is a dead give away.

true, and i had taken that into consideration for those looking at the pics, however, the fish would be "turning" in all 4 pics...which is unlikely (even given the poor photo quality).

either way, this one should stick out to everyone...at least if they take the time to carefully look at the photos--

Yes, but yours appears to be a pike characin aka needlenose gar/fish, not a rocket gar. The stripe is common in a needlenose.
