would a fish ever get 25 worms at one time in the wild,no way.

No, but whatever they are eating I wouldn't be surprised if it equalled more than 25 superworms. It seems like a lot but I'm sure it's alot less filling than a rodent. But the Silver in question does seem like a pig.

I'm not advocating power-feeding. My RTG does not continue to eat and eat. Now that he's on market shrimp, he fills up more easily and then stops eating. I'd never seen him with a plump belly on superworms like he gets with market shrimp.

I just don't see 14 superworms being a big deal for a 12" aro.

my sub-adults silver aros and jar are fed everyother day ...hehehhe though i do feed them everyday whenever i am back home. hmmm, they do have a stop point though. The sivers stop eating after certain amount of food.... though i did observe that even after there are still live frogs floating aroud they still eat shrimp that i give to the stingray below.

I have never seen asian aros pig out =( they eat very little and are very picky

PS: but even with prawns there is a stop point - tried that too ... (no idea what superwork is - anybody got a pix?)

I asked a pet shop once and they said their aro can finish 75 worms a day... And they're about 10-13 inches, I'm not sure if he was referring to one aro, or the four they stock...

Now, what IS the appropriate number?

the super worm does not look so super... i had them in my mind to be bigger... so maybe it is okay amount.... but still better to leave the arow slightly hungary then too full
