Pike with Bichir?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ya never even looked to go inside one of those this weekend. probably should have since they have cheaper senegals and stuff, but i decided i wanted to just check out all LFS first since i'd rather do business with them.

Yeah there are at least TWO in Lincoln...one on 48th and O street, and the other one is on 27th and Superior. Man this is making me miss Nebraska. You think YOU'VE got it bad there, you should come to Mississippi, at least where i live. NOTHING in the LFS. Haven't been to the Memphis ones yet, so there may still be hope....haha.

Yeah, called most of them, and there is only two that are close enough (within a couple of hours) that actually keep FW fish. SOOOOO, yeah. We shall see. Jackson doesn't promise much hope either. ALTHOUGH, my parents are moving to St. Louis...so i might make a few weekend long runs up there...;)

your gunna have fun there, there are probably twenty some lfs in st. louis

Doesn't really seem like it considering how little Salty and Shadow talk about it...haha. There are some good ones though. The best part about it will be being able to meet and chill wit the other CRENICICHLA foos in the area! Thats what will make it worth it!! ;)

There are several lfs in the St. Louis area, but most of them don't carry much in the way of pikes. I have frequented quite a few in the area. If they have any they are usually Johanna or Xingu I's, Sveni's and belly crawlers. I haven't been to St. Charles (bout 20 minutes Northwest of St. Louis) area yet. I ordered my Marm through a lfs that I frequent every couple of weeks to see if something comes in.
There is supposed to be I Cichlid lfs in N. St. Louis but I haven't been able to find it.
The one I heard about (Tropical Fish Co) in St. Charles, I could not reach him and Peanut said that it went out of business.
