I have read some garbage before. But this truly does have to take the cake.

Just because you can do something, it doesn't mean you should.

Actually, if you could do it, you should! It's called privilege! Well, unless you're too afraid!

My pima eats until there's an obvious bulge in its stomach and he still chases after his tankmate(I don't know what that fish is called). My pima is around 15 inches(give or take) and the other fish is roughly 5 inches.

of course he still chase ur other fish there 5 inch and the pima is 15 they can fit into his mouth. the fish i keep in with him small is is 16 inchs

as long as you have a place to rehome the pima soon i dont see a problem

BUT its only 30 inch and it looks cramped now so best start looking for a new home soon

it looks nice and healthy at the moment lets hope it still looks as good in 6 months

lets not turn this any further into a "you need a bigger tank!that fish gets too big!" debate...

i never meant to turn it into another that fish needs a bigger tank but its plain to see the fish will need a bigger tank within 6 months if not less

i have no problem with people buying giant fish like this as long as they plan ahead and make sure they have a place to re home the fish when it out grows their tank

we all love pimas and i have a tank bigger than the one this fish is in but i wouldn't dare buy one not knowing what i would do with with the pima when it out grows my tank

if i knew someone who had a big enough tank to home a adult pima then yes i would buy one and grow it on until it out grew my tank

at the end of the day time is running short for this pima in that tank so its best to find it a new home when it needs it in a few months if a new home is already plan then their is no problems for me

you have dune a great job with this pima now lets hope it lives a long and happy life

yep JDM style...I will never keep a fish tank any other way...you have to know what you are doing to keep JDM...and appearantly some people don't :)

well said...either that or they can't do it......but PECKOLTIA is right just because I can, I don't have to...BUT I WANT TO hahaha....see the difference buddy?;)

Let me help you with the logic a little more...I WANT TO = I WILL...get it...Check my old tanks and new ones...all JDM hahaha...so keep your opinions and negative comments to your own threads.
