No problem my friend glad to help any fellow cichla keeper! a lot of ppl will scare folks off with the care sheets whom themselves have zero experience with the species they preach about, I’m sure most of of us on here would prefer to get info from experienced hobbiest with hands on experience on the subjects at hand, or to be led to someone who has that experience.Good to know from someone who has experience. I have a hard time with google searching almost anything now after seeing how so many people find significance in posting care sheets on species they have read a few articles on.

Update: He will eat the pellets, but only when I'm not in the room and it's dark, I put it in and I just let it sit there and I came back 10 minutes later it was gone and I repeated it a few more times. Either he ate it, the snails in the tank did (doubt it as the pellet is meaty and there is plenty of algae and biofilm for them to feed on), or it just fell apart and sank into the substrate (which I doubt it did as these are high quality pellets that hold up well)
