Aren't you going to get one jau to replace or naw? I don't really care for jaus so I won't get one. Filas are my favs :) Maybe you could get 1-2 more filas if the driftwood, shrimp, and your dog sales are good.

Hey KOLTSIX, I see you visiting this thread, you know you want a filamentosum bro!

I want to, but a $25 fish isnt worth $85 shipping, to me that is. Hopefully he can get some around the warmer months.

Ive got 4 of the 5 pups sold. They went fast when I advertised by me. They come to get the pups tomorrow and Friday, so I will feel pretty rich when I have all that money in hand at once lol.

My jau is in solitary until he can go into the pond with the big kids.

kntrygrl, glad that your dogs are sold! I hope they have good homes. Get the mother and father dog breeding again.....more money, more fish :D :D :D haha j/k

Cliff, how big is your fila now? Would you say they are fairly slow growing compared to other cats like RTC, TSN, etc????

Any updates guys? Did you eat your filas? Did they die??

Come on...............mine are doing great........slowly getting bigger and bigger :)

Fila is definitely hitting a growth spurt now. He's surpassed the jurense while I was gone to work this time. I really need to get my new house tank up and running soon lol. Jau is on soley shrimp and bloodworms now, and still living with a very beaten up pleco that's twice his size. Fila spooks everytime the lights come on, he's pale as a ghost. Kinda cool looking at first, but color comes back after a little while. Going to see if I can't get him onto shrimp next. Here's a few pics, I've got more, but they'll be elsewhere!

AWESOME FILA!!!!!! Cliff if you go back 1-2 pages you will see how mine has lost its spots........could be because my tank is a rubbermaid and all gray so its blending/changing its color to its environment. My other filas still look like yours.
