KNTRYgrl, maybe you need to put the fila by himself in his own tank and see how it does. Try bumping the temp up and put some feeders in there and maybe a some shrimp and turning the lights off and leaving it alone.
 
sounds good mkman..YEAH, my fila is by himself in 100gl, no light, and temp 81 and he ate feeders the next day. ph 6.8. lots of water movement..airpumps and big aquafilters hand on type. lots of wood for fila to hide.
 
I'm about to get a 100+ gallon. Been looking on craigslist for some cheap equip and possible tanks.

My fila is eating well too. Number of feeders has dropped so I know its eating.

Has anyone seen their filamentosum eat? I haven't but I see its bulging belly sometimes, just wonder if they lie still and wait for fish to come by or if they actually chase and catch feeders
