Piranha and Mr. Convic

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I should of taken a video of my 2.5" tailess male con attacking 3 7-8 inch RBPs to defend his young. This experiment has not failed yet. My male lost his tail in the first few days.

did you even watch the video lol. p's are on the left, cons are on the right. cons will swim EVERYWHERE cuz there defensive n terrorize all fish.

First of all, if you watch the video, those convicts are not terrorizing anybody, and the OTHER fish, too, are huddled into that corner. There is no way that is a 150, unless if there is something more menacing beyond the convicts, which I highly doubt.
As it is, I think it's just a much smaller tank, and the convicts have taken up one side, and the P's another side.

Why don't you pop a pic up and prove me wrong?

Being defensive, and terrorizing are ... ahm... very different things.

If the convicts were near the left side - why are the Ps in the left corner, as opposed to FAR AWAY on the right side...

How about a full tank shot?

Srry man you keep asking for a full tank shot but the original poster is not online. I watched the vid though, hard to tell for sure but the tank looks like a 4 footer by 18". would have to be 42" tall to be 150 gallon.

I agree, but the only terrorizing going on in my tank was by the cons. So I guess since I removed the cons that makes me responsable?

that video gives no guarantees on its size lol. its just a video. n how did we go from "immature fish keeping" to "prove me wrong on ur tanks size". who cares how big his tank is. he has 6 piranha, and 2 female cons, n 1 dead male. whats done was done.

that tank could be of many different sizes, 5ft by 30" tall by 18" wide. or 6x2x20" wide. or he could be lying. either way, you went way off topic since this thread started

Although I am entirely new to FW Barracudas, and enjoying my first isalinae,

I just added a pair of small Kribensis in my isalinae tank, and she ignores them completely. She is up to 3 guppies per meal, instead of 2...

You are new to keeping a Isalinae, yet you added a pair of kribs .....sounds like irreasponable fish keeping to me

Oh, do you blind fold those guppies before your Isa terroizes them?

bderick, if you look at this guys other post, he shows that the male got eaten this morning lol. go look at my original thread of adding cons to the p tank on like page 9 or whatever.
