hello newbies :naughty::naughty:
are u got hurt ? :D
be cool lads..... :D

I understand some of you have strong points :irked:
And I agree with them most of the time.

BUT

RBPs have more chance to terrorize non native rivers than rhoms.

why ?

1. RBPs are cheaper and more common, so the chances are high someone release them to local rivers
2. RBPs breed more easily and grow quickly,
3. RBPs form large shoals and live/hunt together, it gives them more protection

yes, i agree with you. But my point is there's a huge chance for rbp to be released to local rivers than rhom. Don't u agree with it ?
In some way, yes but that doesn't mean rhom is weaker and less dangerous than a RBP.

And what is your point? That rhom is weaker and cannot survive or terrorizing in non-native waters?

no, that is not my point. my point is, it is uncommon that someone will release a large population of rhoms to the local rivers. But that can happen with RBP.
And I believe in non native waters, RBP has more adapting + breeding strength than the rhoms. Even in their native rivers, RBP population is more than the rhoms I believe.

In nature, RBPs are more powerful.....

+1

One on one rhom wins hands down. Full fledged ambush predator.

one on one, yes. then rhom will win most of the time
But make sure u put the rhom into the RBP's tank or both into a new tank.

I believe the rhom is more territorial than aggressive.. I know lot of fish if one on one, can kill your fully grown rhom in minutes.

You are not fooling us, it's clearly that this thread is about that a RBP is better invasive than a rhom because of your assumptions that based on the captive piranhas and unreliable documents. You just come up with a speculation that doesn't happened and you don't try to research. I just proved you that RBP and Rhom are fully capable to survive in non-native waters based on the incident catches in United States by fishermen and found dead piranhas on the shores.

yes, both can survive.
But I think, RBP can breed more quickly and the survival rate of the RBPs in wild is more than the rhoms.

Let me stop you at "But I think". That is what you are doing, speculating things that doesn't happened. All facts you got is based on the captive piranhas in aquarium and unreliable documents.
