I don't think he understands there are piranha experts in here, members that have studied, researched and kept all kinds of species for decades so they have a 1st have understanding of how and why things happen..... this isn't some YouTube crap!

I have Russian friends and they are very hard headed (no offense) so I can see your diplomacy on not wanting to understand others with knowledge. Why start a thread if its "ME ME ME ME....?"

someone may release thousands of rbp fry to the local rivers because of many reasons.

1. They like to do it - villain mode
2. they have no place to keep the fry and no where to sell
3. out of hobby and want to get rid of them soon
4. going abroad/far away city for a long time and no time to sell/no time to find a suitable fish keeper to give
That's so cute that you comes up with these ideas. Here's the cookie for you, do you want milk that goes with it?

I've seen a alligator eating a pacu in west davie and seen pics in fishing shops pacus are in south Florida not in big numbers though

There's no breeding populations of pacu in U.S despite of them being able to survive in some waters.

apparently you are hell wrong
No you just don't want to be wrong and you ignored most posts. You just want to prove us that you are right and we're wrong...isn't this thread is about? Anyways it's a moot point. Both RBP and Rhom have proved us that they are adaptable and can survive in the waters where they are not native to. It's just RBP is more common and easy to obtained than Rhom but they are no different from Rhom if both are released in the waters.

man it's been years since i've spent any time looking at piranhas videos on youtube. Some crazy feeding videos/documentaries out there. here's what people really need to see though. there's too much misconception from people watching videos of starved/hungry piranhas

didn't watch this last video, upon skimming i saw silver dollars and pacus, not sure there's piranhas in there

You guys could agree with him, but then you'd all be wrong ;)

yes, i agree with you. But my point is there's a huge chance for rbp to be released to local rivers than rhom. Don't u agree with it ?

especially rbp need a trigger to start feeding. if one started to feed, others will react.
if a wounded man jumped into the piranha infected water, most probably he will be attacked by them.
