hey its your money and your fish...so i say do what you want...but ive had bad experiences with keeping other fish with my ps

i reckon that an aussie aro would be suitable...Jardini Saratoga are very very mean and fast, and grow quite quickly (well mine has) and i reckon htat it would be suitable with p's cause of there temprement, if a p annoys it they'll soon now bout it..8 p's tho i dunno =/

I am not sure that I can comment on this, but I guess, it also depends on the size of the RBPs and the A. If the A is large, then I think it would create a problem for the RBPs, as it would need only 1 gulp/bite. On the other hand, if it is not large, then it is in deep trouble ( the Arrowana ).

I have one black piranha, and have had bad luck trying to give it a tankmate. It is only about 3.5-4 inches long, but it nipped the fins and eventually killed (maybe) my 6" tiger oscar. He has bitten the tail off of any fish I have temporarily put with him including a convict, a smaller juve albino oscar, and a 4" aggressive cobalt cichlid (just last night). He is only in a 29 gallon tank though (perfect for his size), so with more room and hiding and distractions you could quite possibly be ok for a while, but eventually they get hungry/angry.
