They were always really aggressive attacking anything so it might have been their personality but they looked kinda like red bellies and i thought they were but she said try are some kind of caribe piranha

I'm willing to bet all my tanks and stock that I will NEVER be bitten by any one of my P's. You guys heard it here first, so if you ever see a thread of mine that shows a piranha bite, contact me on how you can come get all my stuff.

Red bellies only bite when your trying to hold one with your hands. Or when they get stuck between your hands and something else.
With cariba's i dont want to bet that they never attack.

Ya after hearing all this about red bellies not biting I asked my aunt and she said it was a school of caribe piranhas or something. But I believe they are more aggressive than red bellies im not sure piranhas aren't really one of my strong points so I don't know too much about them

I had eight large red bellies for a while. I always stuck my whole arm in the tank while cleaning/moving rocks around. Red bellies are pretty skittish, and they always just darted away from my arm when sticking it into the tank.

When catching them to sell them, I, like an idiot, put my hand above the net to keep one from flopping out. I instictually do this with all fish, but don't do it with Piranhas! This was the result of that careless act:
