If you have the money/space/permission etc. to get a big tank then why didn't you get the biggest you could already?

thank you I DIDN'T ASK ABOUT THE TANK. I ASKED IF THEY COULD GET ALONG PLEASE. STICK TO THE QUESTION.:irked:

I would say no, they will likely not get along. The gator gar will quickly grow large enough to eat or just kill the other fish. The RBPs wll likely take off the other fish's fins and tails. The aro and the oscar will likely make good tank mates as long as one is not large enough to bully the other. If it were my tank I would replace the gator gar with a florida gar and replace the RBPs with silver dollars. Just my 2 cents.

I think you probably could if they are all about the same size and the piranha is none aggressive. I trained my oscar, pacu, and chichild to be none aggressive. Just don't feed them any meat and they would probably get along. I would suggest to get the piranha small aligator gar small arowana a little bigger the oscar about a little smaller than the rest. They have to all be close to size though. Would also recomend a breeding shield to keep them seperate and wait until they are used to each other so they won't try to attack each other then remove the shield and see if they go together but keep a close watch.

hi thank you every one for your feed back. what if i instead did not get the piranha and in stead got a peacock bass, and instead of the gator gar get a Florida gar .

That would be a pretty nice tank imo.

Sounds like a cool group of fish to keep together.
