hi thank you every one for your feed back. what if i instead did not get the piranha and in stead got a peacock bass, and instead of the gator gar get a Florida gar .

no peacock bass with gar. it might be ok with a florida gar but i DONT recommend it

it is highly advised against. multiple people have had it with disastrous results

he said its a 75g

Like I said, I've had red-bellied piranha's before and they aren't as cool as most people think. I had 6 about 6 inches long and the tank had a piece of driftwood. Every time you walk by or turn on the light, they would freak out and crash into the driftwood trying to get under it. I didn't like using feeder fish and still don't so I fed them beef heart. They grew pretty big pretty fast but they aren't as aggressive as people think they are. I ended up giving them to a friend because I just got bored with them. I did give them night crawlers that were cleaned up by feeding them veggies but they just took nips out of them until the worms were small enough to swallow. Over rated, The Doctor

how big are they, i've seen oscars and other cichlids (epecially peacock bass) try to take food from gars and startling them, resulting in the gar flipping out and hitting the glass, which can lead to broken snouts, backs etc...
