totally, thats a setup practiced by many. You could even throw a nattereri in there if you wanted, just for the sake of saying you have all 3 pygocentrus species in your tank

That's probably the way I'm going to go. How many of each do you recommend I get?

really depends on how much $$ you are willing to dish out for the pirayas...

10-12 fish would work in a 220.

5 caribas 5 pirayas 2 natts if you have the $$ to burn

if not, then maybe 7 caribas 3 natts 1 piraya...

really doesn't matter what combo you get... you may find the pirayas are going to burn a hefty hole in your pocket though.

i got a shoal of 7 baby caribes and they all run away when my hand gets close to them, im hopin they will get more agressive as they get larger
Try cutting your finger first :hitting:

I ended up getting eleven 1.5 Caribes from Shark Aquarium. I would of gotten Pirayas as well if they had them the same size.
So far so good they are active and eating.

Thanks piranha45 for sharing that info with me. I really do appreciate that. I don't have a digital camera yet. But how do I go about getting the picture from the camera to my desktop?
Thanks for baring with me and helping me.
