Pirhana/tetra question please read

Exodons are a great choice, but if you want piranhas; I suggest looking into a few of the serrasalmus piranha species. Most don't get as big as a red belly piranha, the only downfall there is they do NOT shoal/school, & must be kept alone. Heck you live in NJ right?! why don't you have a look at either Shark Aquarium, or Aquascapeonline, both are in New Jersey, & both have some pretty extreme fish. Overall, exodons seem to fill out what you're looking for though, one of my buddy's just started up an exo tank, & I can't help but be a little envious; and I own 2 decent solo piranhas!

Thanks I've heard of shark aquarium and I actually thing I live like 30 minutes away because there is a freshwater place where they sell some huge fish. I will have to go one day! 

i noticed that you thought the tetras looked like rbps, did you know that that piranhas, pacus and silver dollars are from the characin family,
Or in other words, piranhas pacus and silver dollars are tetras! It sounds weird that a huge tambaqui
Could be related to a cute little neon tetra! P.S a wimple piranha is 6" long but is quite aggrssive but not as aggressive as rbps

Totally, have a look. It sucks that we in canada don't have such stores, but if I were in your position I would definitely take advantage of it!

I think the black bellie piranhas stay smaller. But the reds are really cool fish to keep! I had 3 of them before i moved to florida and they were really interested fish. Wish i still had them.
