Haha. My guys are only nuts if I don't run them at least once a week. (By "run them", I mean take them out for a 4 hour adventure)

We play ball about an hour a day. They aren't NEARLY as bad as Jack Russel Terriers, provided you give them their exercise. I guess thats every dog though.

I plan on getting a larger dog when I am out of the house. (Done college in a year, out in a year and a day) Looking at either a Rotty or a Pit

I think they are awesome... nice dogs you have Remorse... i still want a english bull terrior some day...

That's a terrier for you :D

That's a hard choice, I love both breeds, rotties are big babies when raised right.

I know. I am leaning more towards a Rottie, I think. I love both breeds sooo much, but I think Rottie's are less feared. I could not handle it if some one who hates Pits ends up getting mine taken away.

"Plug-In Mac" is hilarious!!! Reminds me of a squirrel that was on our deck once, except it was chewing on a lightbulb when my dad plugged in the lights. It smelled horrible. How could you resist that pit puppy's eyes?!

She still is, but I think what happened with Dutch has made her lose confidence.. I'm sure she'll get over it, just having good control over her and giving her alot of positive(treats esp. :D) when a new dog goes by, she'll look forward to seeing dogs soon.
It worked with her little boss, Sparkles met a huge puppy at petsmart the other day and was perfectly fine, until he smacked her in the head.. but she's never liked other dogs, when we brought her home at 3 months old she was growling at our male GSD so hard that she was drooling XD
She trys to be the ref. whenever our other dogs play fight..
Check her out in these pics, lol the funny looking big terrier was one we were dog-sitting..As you can see she beats up everyone, it doesn't work with the german shepherd though.

cute pics Bettagurl.... reminds me of my pom with my dobes..she always wins the big bone..

i think he likes guinie pigs

Tink is a smart girl.. I've been doing a sort of clicker training with her, but the *click* means to come and get a reward, I started earlier this afternoon with it, and already she stopped barking at a dog and came to me. Pork and cheese can do wonders.

To each there own. I prefer not training with treats, b/c I want to guarantee that when my dog chases a squirrel across the road, he will come when I call him. I am worried that he will think that the squirrel is better then the treat he will receive.

PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS AS AN ATTACK AGAINST YOUR METHODS. This is more me saying why I train the way I do. I am curious to find out what your take is on it.

I understand your point exactly ;)
I plan on slowly working her off of the treats, and just getting her to listen to me, not to listen because I have food. She does pretty good with recall even without treats, but there are a few dogs and peple around here she just can't stand.. one is a man who thinks he's better than the world, so he stands at our fence until someone makes him leave and lets his dog fight through the fence and pee on ours. The other is a 'special' lady who will just stand there with her dog going nuts.

Sounds like you live in an odd neighborhood......
The Hampton Roads area can be pretty weird sometimes from what I've seen.
