My blue pitt from the local SPCA. Please adopt a dog everyone and stop breeding, there are too many pits that need homes right now.

Seriously...was at the humane society yesterday. 85% of the dogs there were pits or pit mixes (with the pit aspect being most recognizable).

Same here... And some places won't even try to adopt them out.
Second to the lab, I'd say, pits are one of the most over-bred dogs out there.

There is a BYB (back yard breeder) down the road form me with a pair or pit mixes that she is scared of, they stay in her yard and breed, over and over, because she can make a profit off of them, she hates the breed though.

i just found out that I don't actually live in Denver, but rather unincorporated Adams County, so I can actually get a pit. IDK when I'll be able to get one, but I will eventually. I'm excited. Now I don't have to look for a blue thai ridgeback and pay out the ass for it.
