Pitbulls attack mother, kills child(4 years old)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'll ask this question- who has experience working with these dogs besides me and pops pops ? I'm talking actual ownership and experience. Not my neighbors had one on a chain in the front yard when I was little 40 years ago. I'm talking ownership, training, or daily working around them.
I have had two in the past and I won't rule out getting another in the future.

This is just not true. Have you ever properly trained a dog? Or spoken to trainers? Ever witnessed a trained dog with it's trainer? It is amazing what you can get a dog to do,and more importantly to this thread, not to do. I'm sorry but you have posted a lot of what is just nonsense here.

Hello; No it is not nonsense.

Then I stand corrected sir. Thank you. :)

I think this is what it boils down to. How the responsibility grows to properly train (beyond the basics) a dog with so much dangerous potential.

I do acknowledge everyone points. Everyone wants to live in as safe of a society as possible, myself included. I just don't think banning this or any breed is the answer. It boils down to personal responsibility.

Owning any of the powerful breeds is a big responsibility and liability.

agreed. :)

I bet the person owning these dogs get some serious penalties, negligent homicide at least manslaughter

quite possibly. all the dogs put down, (read shot)
