Hello; This "identification " ploy is addressed in on of the links I posted. It is a common way to try and confuse the issues with this type of bully dog. Also in one of the links was reference to a court determination about the ability of people to identify these type dogs. This ploy has been exposed.
Hello; A mother being attacked and her child being mauled to death and partly consumed in front of her is more than "very unfortunate" to my way of thinking. This is a very suitable description of evil to me. These were not wild lions or some such, but dogs kept by people and what many consider a pet.
Hello; You lose me completly with this statement. Are you out of your mind? Somehow we are not to walk down a street with our children in our neighborhoods?
Hello; This is true. I have posted in these pitt bull threads before. I have had at least one pitt bull champion wish I will be mauled by a pitt bull i talked about in my neighborhood. Same people -same points being made. My points being the better of course.
Hello; Quite a stretch here.
Hello; This thread brought to mind an incident in Los Vegas. With reference to the notion that dog, including pitt bull types, can be trained to do whatever we want them to do or not do. I thought of Sigfred and Roy with their white tigers. I agree that the concept applies in that dangerious large animals can be trained. These guys did very well for a long time with the white tigers. Just took one bad day to end it . Dogs are not tigers, but the point was that they can have built in parts of their nature. That with training these natural tendencies can be suppressed I do not doubt, but they do not go away.

"identification ploy" "myths" blah blah its all cr@p and none of it based on concrete facts.
most dog attacks reported by the mass media as "pit bull dog attacks" 98% werent even
in fact a real "pit bull" but a short haired mutt that shared similar characteristics with a
pit bull and if you actually knew your dog breeds you would know this.
bring me solid concrete evidence and show how they got this result from what kind and
how many research it took. until then im gonna assume its half assd statistic made from
even more bogus half assd research done by stereotypical "all pit bulls are evil" so lets
have them banned and rid of from the world people.
nature and instincts took its course regardless of being domesticated animals
all animals are/were once from the wild and carry that dna with them. it doesnt
matter if they are domesticated house pets they're animals... because of ignorant
people like you think "oh it should be ok since theyre domesticated house pets and
not wild animals" pet attacks happen. your care free attitude and lack of responsibility
along with the fact that most dog owners are not knowledgeable about the breed of
dog they have as a pet is one of many reason things like this can and does happen.
you say and call the dogs evil because of what happened but it was simple cause and
effect. no one ever looks at what caused the dog or "pit bulls" to attack someone or
something every one just hypes up "omg another pit bull attack" yet dont care to find the
fact about how or why it happened. a dog or any animal as a matter of fact wont just
attack you out of no where for no reason at all. there's a reason for everything and its the
world laws of cause and effect. whether the child taunted the dogs as they passed by,
or agitated it some how, or over stepped into their territory & etc etc. they werent just walking
down the street obviously something happened and triggered the dogs animal instinct for
survival to cause what has happened. regardless if the domesticated house pet is a lion,
cat, dog, wolf, and any other animals they were all once wild carry that animal instinct
in their dna. just because theyre "house pets" doesnt mean anything animals are animals
period.
you see a pack of aggressive & neglected looking dogs and at glance a poor fence structure
are you gonna just walk right by it or walk around it by going off the side walk and try and avoid
a disaster? its COMMON SENSE... to walk around it and try to avoid anything that can or might
happen. the mother could have prevented this by carrying her child off the side walk and walking around the dogs as to not set off what ever it was to trigger them into offensive actions. anyone/
everyone i see outside always gets off the side walk and goes around the house if they see a
dog its common sense. if she didnt have the common sense or a mothers sense to keep their children safe to be responsible and properly think about her child's safety than im sorry to say she isnt deserving to be a mother period.
you think a death from a smaller breed dog bite is stretch? its something that can very easily happen regardless of size every dog as sharp canines and just one bite and the misfortune of
that bite hitting a vein or artery will most likely in all cases cause death by blood loss and i know
because im talking from personal experience. if i didnt have the training i do to handle dogs
i might not have been so lucky when i got bit on my hand and having the dog's canine puncture
a deep hole in my hand right next to a vein. this bite and puncture was from a small breed mutt.
the hole took nearly 8 months to completely fill up and heal. had it been a half inch more to the
left i would have most likely bled to death or the sorts.
