benzjamin13 I totoaly forgot what the movie was called, thx for refreshing memory.

Fry they were dusted with calcium powder/supplement.

I like the pixie frog ! So would you say that this is a more enjoyable pet than a pacman frog in terms of it being more active? I have a Budgett's and would like another frog I was thinking pacman but these pixies seem to be more active/less colorful,so I guess it's a trade-off? Quick question though, does this frog croak all night? I am into the quieter frogs !! LOL

I beleive all male frog/toads will eventually croak at least once in awhile. But mines are still young so no prob with that.

They're not like Pacmans where they'll just sit there waiting for prey items to walk by. With these frogs if you throw 10 crickets in, they'll not stop jumping around catching crickets till all are gone. They're stomachs just seem bottomless, they'll eat and eat till you stop feeding them:ROFL: .

If you want a frog that will not be shy about eating and actually jumps around catching prey right in front of you, I highly recommend these guys. I also personally like the look of full grown Pixies more than the pacmans.
