pj's hurting kids

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Isn't it implied in the purchase that Hannah Montana products will hurt your children? Her music is terrible, her acting is worse. Someone should sue for retarding the development of their young kids. Let's face it, her dad was the king of mullets. She was doomed from the start, even though she now is the queen of the billion dollar mullet empire.

I'd be mad too, but let's face it: we live in a real world. Things happen, and 100% quality control is literally impossible, period. Let them know, see what happens... but is contributing to the pile of unnecessary litigations necessary?

The whole psycho safety-net society is based on the idea that we live in a world where everything is perfectly controllable and when something goes wrong, the gov./corporation is responsible for our personal safety, and they must pay.

I was in a grocery store years ago and a display of 2 litre pop bottles fell, and I got smoked in the head. People told me I could have sued, etc., but I wasn't hurt aside for a bad bruise and headache, and I like to work for my money, and am not opportunistic to that degree.

We live in a real world :) Unless you make your own clothes and food, you are taking a chance!

Alot of people are saying it was a little scratch..has anyone really looked at those pictures, the poor little girls whole arm is the size of mabey and adult forarm, Im so sorry she got hurt like that. It could have been alot worse. Kids toss and turn all night long and the needle could have easily poked her in the wrong spot such as her eye, neck or a cruical vein. I would definitly contact someone high up to get those pj's recalled and let millions of others parents watch and look out for something that there little boy or girl could be wearing. Sueing would just be a bonus but hey if youre not someone like that then thats fine. I see how worried you are about youre daughter and ever since reading this thread i have checked every single new outfit and pj;s my little girl got for christmas.
Again i hope she gets better.
I agree with you. It may be just a needle but let's be realistic. The needle could have done a serious damage worse than what she got. Poor dear.:( Who expects a needle stuck on an outfit meant to be safe for use to kids? Contact the manufacturers first. They should be held liable for the damage the girl has suffered physically and psychologically. If they refuse to oblige saying it is none of their business, then have it settled through your lawyer and raise public awareness about the dangers of stray needles and pins. The important thing is the safety of our children, not money.

See thats an interesting idea though. Does the government not try to regulate everything? Corporations surely make the world go round and shove advertising down your throat. IMO the safety net is a result of how modern society is operating.

I cant believe how sue happy most of you are... be thankful your the child wasnt really harmed.... no serious damage was done .....

You've offended me by saying that. Expect to hear from my lawyer......

i would even start with, not an email, but an actual letter with pictures of her arm. People discard emails because they are written on a whim. Think and be careful as to what you write as this could keep you from getting a settlement if that is what your after. Keep it simple and put this is what happened when our daughter wore one of your articles of clothing and she is terrifyed of shirts now. make it more like you are making them aware of what happend but keep emotions out. or even better run it by a lawyer.. many times you get the first half hour free or a free consult.
