Be persistent, sometimes you have to be the squeaky wheel to get something accomplished. You have to contact the right person at disney for starters and it may not even be there responsibility. The manufacturer may be responsible which may be a sweat shop in NoCareLand. Do you have any fish dude.

Not sure if this was mentioned. It is the responsibility of the consumer, to inspect anything they consume. Clothes may have a needle, and there may be a peanut in your macadamias. I always thought my dad was crazy for inspecting EVERYthing we touched or ate.

Exactly... what are some people, blind consumers??? If we did achieve a 100% safety record on products we buy, people would complain about the price increase that would be bound to follow. What should they do - X-ray clothes, have workers feel for foreign objects, test the fibres of each product for impurities, etc.???

There is something called "acceptable risk" - if there wasn't, no medications would ever be released, we wouldn't use any products containing potential carcinogens/toxins in any doses, etc.

The thread turned into rants about society because the knee-jerk reaction to SUE SUE SUE is a product of recent generations - and is crazy. It may stem from being raised in sterile conditions without the knowledge that all things in this world are subject to inherent variability, and that nothing is perfectly controllable. Our environment is dynamic, why should our mentality be static?
