Forgot to mention - there was also java moss & duckweed in the bag, which made me smile. 1. I thought it was really good that the shrimp had the moss while en route and 2. I was going to buy some java moss to wrap around the driftwood in their 30 gallon tank, and now I dont have to! The duckweed was also an awesome plus, I know it can spiral out of control fast, but I dont mind dipping a net in there and scooping some out when needed!

Hey, glad to hear everything worked out with PI. And glad to hear they're getting back on their feet after the swirling of negative feedback they were getting for a while.

Now you have to post lots of shrimp pictures for us lol ^_^
 
Just a update about this bum! Still owes me $90. from oct 2008.:nilly:

Just don't what this Ryan person,:irked: to take anyone for the ride that he has taken me on.
 
I don't think he's a bad guy..... just got in over his head selling stock he didn't have. EVERY seller has problems occassionally. I had plenty of my own when I got so overwhelmed with too many orders and every possible disaster when building the new hatchery, so I did plenty of screwing up myself for a few months last year. In the end, all was made right..... just very late.

People ought to give Planet Inverts another chance. I'm sure he has learned his lesson and will not be selling stock he doesn't have anymore.

My only problem with him is that HE NEVER MADE GOOD on his mistakes. He never went back to those people and made good on their orders. He should have done that, once he got his problems all worked out. People who didn't get their shrimp (or got much less than what they ordered) should go back and ask him to make good on it. Maybe he will. Maybe he just lost track of who gets what..... god knows I certainly did at the end of last year.

Or maybe not.

But still...... he should get another chance.

www.planetinverts.com I know some people had some bad experiances in the past, but I can guarantee that wont happen in the future. I also own Alpha Pro breeders

I bought Planet Inverts because I always thought of it as the industry standard for freshwater invertabrate information. It was sad when the previous owner got over his head. We both did a big Sulawesi shrimp order from Indonesia abought the same time, the shippers did a horrible job (about a 70% loss) the previous owner pre-sold his shrimp, luckily I waited until I received my shipment. In short I will rebuilding the reputation to the status the web site deserves.

Congrats Ron!

I hope that you can maintain that PI site as it is just so easy to use and chock full of information for people to use at all levels of experience. I have not purchased from the site due to negative reviews but I'll have to check it out now. Thanks for this information and you may want to post this on Aquaria Central as well because there are a lot of invert crazed keepers there too :naughty:........MMMHHhhhuuuuuu;)

I know it will take some time to turn it around, that is one of the reasons I direct people to my Alpha Pro Breeders web site. Hopefully they will differentiate between the two until I can get some better reviews for Planet Inverts.
