Gotcha, no hard feelings The Amazon river starts in Peru and a small portion of the Amazon Basin is also in Peru, I think thats what he meant

I am sure. But to me, when one mentions the amazon, Brasil comes to mind immediately, since the peruvian and other countries part in it is comparably small.
