planning to buy two brand new arowanas, help needed.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I agree with the others, Until you have a 150+ gallon tank don't even think about getting an Arow. I'm growing mine out from 6" in a 100g while in the process of building a much larger tank. 20g just isn't enough, even for a little while.

yeah 20g would be a fine grow out tank if it had an immediate home once it was grown out. alot of people dont understand the meaning of grow out tank. w/ an aro you will literally notice growth every day. wont last long at all in a 20.

the exception does not make arule..I also had silvers with asians and jardinis all together and peacefull...overcrowding tends to reduce agressivity...but...**** happens, and in a lot of situations the Jar kick some ass, as we all know..

2 cents of mine..

i guess i'm not gonna get my aro anytime soon, until i get my 220gal. :naughty: thanks for all the information/facts guys, much appreciated :). you guys will still be hearing from my aro and i soon.:)

Get 2 silvers instead :D Two majestic Fish cruising the Heavens of your tank :D AWESOME!!
