My aquarium has green water... Now its extremely serious.. Im considering a 100% water change.. I tried everything!! 20% water change every 2 days but the green water just turns greener after 1 week of doing that.. Medication didnt work AT ALL... I can't find daphnia...

So my plan is to take all my fish out place them in buckets with air supply...

Then remove like half of the gravel because my gravel is full of sh*t I don't vacuum it much...

I'll be adding water to the tank directly from the tap so the BB in half of the gravel will be dead.... and i'll wash the half of the gravel...

Then de-chlorinate the water... I will stop the filter because my filter media is loaded with BB to avoid them dying I'll stop the filter until like few hours after adding in dechlorinator...

So how long later can I put my fish back? That means the nitrogen cycle is back to normal...

Thanks

Please dont flame me. ;)

Just do daily water changes and vacuum the gravel. Obviously it isn't going to get any better if the gravel is full of ****.

It's called a pleco and a pleco wouldn't help with green water.

Theyre called plecos and theyre for eating poop not algae

... Really?
