Sweet thanks for the tip everyone, have u guys used the brand exo terra (by hagen company) i purchase small bottles of the multi vitamins and calcium + d3 ? the ingredients seems pretty good.

To Vicious_Fish i will eventually buy some from you hehe!

Update: I picked up a 1 year old female just today haha she just ate a non dusted mealworm right now but for some reason she not touching the dusted meal worm yet, we'll see by tommrow

Those vitamins will be fine to dust the feeders with.

Let me know when you're ready. Besides all my babies I have 2 adult females that I need to find homes for too.

Most has already been said, however I dont recomend using exoterra´s suplements at least for now, the absolute best that has never let me down is zoomeds good old reptivite:D

PS: Opps dumb me, didnt realize my brother signed on his account on mfk:nilly: lol posted with the wrong account (dragogreen)

Leo's are often a pain in the ass and will take undusted prey items rather than the dusted, if there is a choice :grinno: Your best bet is, for the 2-3 feedings a week you dust the food, do not offer anything but dusted prey items. The rest of the feeds can they be undusted. My leo is a picky madam and will stalk prey like crazy, till she 'notices' they're a little white, licks it, and realises they have the dust on them. Tough crap, no vits, no food! lol:nilly:

I haven't used Exo Terra sorry, I purchase Calcium power neat. No brand.. I've always done this (from a reptuable animal feed supplier) and then came across the 'brand' names, and the incredible mark up they use! Seems anything with the label 'reptile' on them is marked up at least 100% Exo terra are fine to use though; they are a good company (for most things).

Best of luck with your girl :D

LOL the companies gotta make their money i guess, thank you for the tip!! that is exactly what happened, she licked it and just left it alone!! but today i did not find the worm so i am assuming she ate it cuz i see bits of its shell in the area it was at yesterday once i turned off the lights.

haha Coura you came too late!! hehe j/k, the store i was at had reptivite also but i was trying to figure out what to use and like you said zoo med make some good product. I just went with the exo terra since the calcium supplement had + d3. Is there is reason why i shouldnt use it for now Coura? Thanks!! There was another store with rep-cal and herpviite herptivite but the price was a bit expensive, seem like good stuff since i see alot of people use it.

What would be a good substrate for the humidity hide box? I am just using paper towel spray with fresh warm water just incase it sheds. Have anyone use moist coconut fiber ? moist bed a beast? or moist peat moss? Does it last longer in terms of evaporation?

Thanks all!! lol sorry i am having soo many questions !

When mine were babies, I used a schedule of 5 days rep-cal's Pure Calcium (no D3), 1 day rep-cal's Calcium with D3 and 1 day rep-cal's Herptivite on the feeders with a dish of the pure calcium in at all time. My eldest is now 14 years old :)

I use wet paper towel in my humid hides. Tried moss, but it got nasty and the leos kept accidentally getting it in their mouths. I'd be afraid of the same with any type of loose substrate. My humid hides are dark anyway, so papertowel works just fine and isn't an eyesore!

cool ! lol wow u have a pretty cool schedule!! yeah i guess i will stick with wet paper towel then, how long of an interval do you usually change the towels?
thanks!!

I generally wet the towels daily and change them once a week when I wipe down the tile substrate in the tank.

ahhh icic cool, are u using "ceramic" tiles by the chance? i think i may switch to that, seems easier to clean + it helps disperse heat from the heat pad since its ceremic, i am just using an absorbent paper for pets as her substrate
