Plant-friendly fish?

You'd probably end up with a pair or two, but I doubt they would raise the eggs and fry in a community setting, either something will eat the eggs/fry or the parents will get stressed and eat their eggs or fry. The best way to breed angels is let the pair form in a community, then separate them and go from there.

I have seen rams breed and raise the fry in community type settings.

Ah, okay. I have been thinking of tearing down all my small tanks and going with one big tank + my 100 gallon eartheater tank, but I don't want to get rid of the angels.
