platinum jardini cost?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The price would depend on the dealer. However not all platinum would cost you $10K+. A plat 6" jar would go around $400-$1K+. Even a plat Asian aro cost around $5K-8K+ at 6". The price would depend on the dealer. It's cheaper if it direct from the farm or from a dealer that is a close friend. Remember most dealer out there would over price all rare or unusual fish that they get even though they don't cost them a lot.

A true Plat Jar will go much more than $400-$1K :grinno: Wishful thinking! There's a different between Plat Jar and wannabe Plat Jar. A Plat Asian, which is captive bred, already $5K+ Plat Jar or Plat Silver, which is wild caught, happens once in a while, costs more money than a Plat Asian ;)

just a heads up. there are people that grow out baby jars in white rubbermaid tubs so they have a really white base and rip people off. but when bigger they grow back to their regular jardini colors. or so i have been told.

That's wannabe Plat... Although they look light color, there's still color in their fins and tail, not like a true Plat :D They did it with Silver, also. See the white tank I have? :naughty: I turned a Lapradei into a "Plat" Lapradei. Even my black aros look "Plat" in there :ROFL::ROFL:

That's it.......... I'm going to start growing out Jars in RED containers and then selling them as "Super Red Jardinis"......... then I'm using the profit to move to Asia and open up my own Arowana Farm and hire only Hooters girls to harvest the spawns!
