Yeah, maybe slightly dark on the back. But fins are just as white. Barbels white. Black eyes.
Sounds like white-tank-treatment Jardini. Take a picture if you can, and post here :)

A little while back I actually asked a very knowledgable collector of rare fish/color morph fish what a platinum jar would run. And I think they told me they were offered one for 7-8k.

Ill try to get a shot. See the tank price was either $109 or $909 lol, bad hand writing.

You sure it's not $10,900? :D

A true Plat Jar will go much more than $400-$1K :grinno: Wishful thinking! There's a different between Plat Jar and wannabe Plat Jar. A Plat Asian, which is captive bred, already $5K+ Plat Jar or Plat Silver, which is wild caught, happens once in a while, costs more money than a Plat Asian ;)

Those wild caught plat jar or silver would probably cost a lot, but most plat jars or silver came out by accident from captive breeds and those are the onse that cost around $400-$1k+ depends on the seller. They are not actually wannabe plat jars but true jars. A wannabe plat jar can be tell apart from a wanna be true plat jar as a wannabe will still have the black base color on the scale at the caudal pendacle. There were two TRUE plat jars that were sold in Japan and it was $575 each. As I said it's the seller that's the one who decide how many number he'll put on the price. If he want to sell it for 10K+ and able to find a buyer then he'll sell it for that price and he'll be more happy. If he's unable to find a buyer he'll slowly drop the price but not lower than $400-$500.

Hopefully I'm able to obtain one of those true plat jars someday. Still working with my Indonesian supplier if they are able to produce plat jars again. The last two were sold to Japan. Hopefully they able to produce more. Keeping my fingers cross as they don't come out that often.

I don't quite think that platinum jars go for more than 10k. Someone I know has a TRUE platinum jar he bought for 3k aus. It's pretty nice IMO too.
