I was in one of my local hole in the wall fish store when I spotted what I believe is a platnium jardini. They are selling it for 200$ and it is about 6-7 inches. I have kept regular jardini in the past and this guy definitely looks different. They were about to close up so I went home and needed more time to consider getting it. After looking on the internet and finding barley any information on them other than they are rare and that there are "fake" platinum jardini out there. I wanted to ask you guys for advice. So my questions are, is this actually a platnium jardini? Is it worth it and should I go pick it up asap tomorrow? Just how rare are platnium jardini? How many do u think are in the u.s. and throughout the world? Any more info on them is appreciated. Thanks p.s sorry for crap quality photos

From what i read allot of lfs try and pawn off pale jardini off as platinum only to have them darken up once the fish is kept in a home aquarium.

Check out predatory fins FB page they had some platinums in the past

I wouldnt trust it. A guy on another forum purchased one and it seems to be a regular jar. the theory is that the fish he purchase was given the white tank treatment then darken up when it was placed in the buyers tank
