It looks luecistic/ platinum to me. But as others mentioned it could be a lower grade platinum(showing minimal display of pigment). It could also be stressed and not as vibrant, if it was just shipped and in a new tank?

They used flash in their photo. You could try using flash. Should enhance its whiteness if it's an actual platinum. If it's not, probably will appear more grey/brown. Plus I've noticed platinum Senegals are more yellowish white. Not white white. So in a white environment, it could "appear" to look less white. If you put in all black, probably would pop.
How does stress affect leucistic/platinum coloration? Would it result in a duller white?

Here is my very first platinum Senegal back in 2009. About 4"-5". Kept in a bare tank.

This is my second one a few years later. 8"-9", Here are several pics of it under "different" settings.

So pretty!!!I really want a platinum sen or del.

To OP: please keep us posted. Lower grade platinums are still super pretty and can get the white to pop. Just might have grey spots in places etc.

I found these on the web. In the 1st pic, I think the back piece is lower grade while front piece is higher grade. As for 2nd pic, both seem to be low grade platinum.

Stress should not really effect the whiteness. It's more about lighting.
Any tips for taking pics with flash?
 Just mess around with it.
